School Autism Screening Program
Does your child stand out around other children? Do they behave in ways that don't make sense? Do you have questions about autism?

Early identification of autism opens the door to early intervention in children with autism or developmental delays.
Understanding Archer partners with preschools and daycares to provide this important screening program. Reach out today for information on bringing the School Autism Screening Program
to the families at your school.
This screening program can provide insight on the potential for an autism diagnosis and can provide parents with guidance on what to do next.
FEATURES
-
Parents complete an autism screening form through a secure and confidential HIPAA-compliant parent portal
-
Parents participate in a virtual follow-up consultation at a time of the parents’ choosing
COST TO FAMILIES:
$40 for first child
$30 for each additional child
THE PROCESS
STEP 1:
REGISTRATION
Parents complete this form to register for the screening. Within a week, an email will be sent via email with a link to a parent portal.
STEP 2:
PAPERWORK
Parents will receive an invitation to a parent portal. In the portal, they will be able to sign consent forms, reserve a time for their consultation appointment, and make payment.
STEP 3:
SCREENING FORM
Next, parents will complete an autism screening form through the parent portal. They will need to complete this rating scale prior to the scheduled parent session.
STEP 4:
PARENT SESSION
Parents will meet with Lee Fisher, MS, LPA-I, a specialist in early childhood autism diagnosis for a virtual 30-minute session. During this session, Ms. Fisher will discuss with you the rating scale, go over any other concerns, and make and recommendations for next steps if warranted.
Child and parent confidentiality will be maintained throughout the process, including registration in the program. Results are not shared with the school or others without explicit written permission by the parents. Please note, this program does not provide an autism diagnosis. A more thorough evaluation is required to determine an autism diagnosis. This program will provide insight on the need for further evaluation. If a further evaluation is recommended, parents are welcome, but not required to have the evaluation completed through Understanding Archer, LLC.
